The 2024 Forum Europa Prize Ceremony of Award to H.E. Ms. Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, will take place on 13 December 2024, from 13:00 to 14:00, at the Teatro Real of Madrid, Spain. Originally scheduled on 30 October, the ceremony had to be postponed following the tragedy caused by severe flooding in Spain.
Since 2003, the New Economy Forum prizes have been awarded to presidents of the European Parliament, Council, Commission and Central Bank; the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy; the presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Italy, and Portugal; the Chancellor of Germany; the secretaries-general of the UN and the OECD, the Director-General of the ILO; and the Managing Director the IMF; as well as to the Fathers of the Spanish Constitution.
