Forum Europa started its activities in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, at the beginning of this year, under the motto "Ideas to Strengthen the Union" and coinciding with the final stretch of a crucial legislature and the elections to the European Parliament.
So far, Forum Europa has organised six events in Brussels:
- Forum Europa with Ms. Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, introduced by Ms. Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) (watch video)
- Forum Europa with Mr. Josep Borrell Fontelles, EU High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission, introduced by Mr. Paul Magnette, President of the Socialist Party in Belgium and Mayor of Charleroi (watch video)
- Forum Europa with Ms. Nadia Calviño, President of the EIB, introduced by Mr. Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission for Promoting our European Way of Life (watch video)

- Forum Europa with Ms. Esther Lynch, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), introduced by Ms. Iratxe García Pérez, President of the S&D Group in the European Parliament (watch video)
The events have been organised thanks to the essential contribution of five companies that demonstrate their strong commitment to Europe and its citizens every day: Airbus, IAG, Indra, Solaria and Telefónica.
New Economy Forum, organisers of Forum Europa, look forward to continuing exchanging ideas to strengthen the Union in September. Forum Europa will be hosting the interventions of Mr. Fredrik Persson, President of BusinessEurope, on 12 September; Mr. Enrico Letta, President of the Jacques Delors Institute and Prime Minister of Italy (2013-2014), on 2 October; and Mr. Guillaume Faury, Airbus Chief Executive Officer (CEO), on 18 October.
